2021 Best Wedding Photos – My Annual Review!

2021

After a very quiet 2020 we had a normal wedding season in 2021. Oh, how I missed it! Beautiful wedding ceremonies, happy people, laughs, drinking and dancing! I tried to include every single wedding I photographed last year, from Cheryl & Andrew’s spectacular Scotland elopement at Camusdarach Beach to Scott & Tom’s festive wedding at the Borthwick Castle.

I really enjoyed local events, like Mhairi & Tom’s wedding at the Restoration Yard, or Kayley & John’s 2 day wedding celebrations at the Carlowrie Castle in Edinburgh . There is something beautiful in seeing people travelling from all over the world to celebrate together. Kayley & John already had small wedding in the US during lockdown and Scottish wedding was a proper party they were waiting for.

I also photographed small weddings – like epic elopement of Christianne & Ciaran who got married at the Fife Arms in Braemar or Catherine & Craig’s tiny wedding at the Edinburgh Zoo. Home celebrations,  new wedding venues and small micro weddings at the City Chambers – it was a busy year! I also discovered new wedding venues: Netherbyres House, stunning Victorian mansion with great interior design; Cairn Farm Estate wedding venue near Edinburgh, not a traditional farm venue; and Harmony House in Melrose, a Georgian manor house with beautiful gardens.

I am so looking forward to going back!
