Berwick photographer

It is nice to travel across the border to photograph a wedding. Although Eve and Luke are based in Edinburgh, there were looking for a Berwick photographer because the wedding was taking place at bride’s family home in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

I arrived at the St. Cuthbert’s Church in Norham just before the ceremony. Loved how the church was decorated by the floral team. This was last of the weddings that took place with restrictions so sadly masks had to be worn. Otherwise, it was the first time in a long time I could feel like before the pandemic hit. Everyone was enjoying drinks reception and dancing in the evening.

That summer I have traveled to the area a few more times, both for work and leisure, for example to photograph this Netherbyres House wedding. I hope to visit more often as there are really scenic locations for wedding photos, like St Abbs Head National Reserve.

Eve was wearing a dress from Olive Jones she bought in Edinburgh. The cake was made by Mother of the Bride and flowers were from a local market garden at Gingerhouse Flowers at Horncliffe.
