Little stories are back. Finally I am having a chance to blog a few photos from the alternative style wedding that happened a while ago. Once hunting lodge, Mar Lodge is a luxurious wedding venue in the Scottish Highlands by the River Dee.

Destination wedding in Royal Deeside

Sarina & Jonas are Australian – Swedish couple and they have chosen Royal Deeside for their destination wedding in Scotland. The couple have spent a few days at the lodge together with their closest family and friends. Sarina was wearing alternative style wedding dress that looked great with her quirky shoes. I loved all the little details.

Late ceremony took place at Braemar Castle, a fortified tower house. This is one of the most beautiful castles in the area.

I must say, I really like micro wedding venues like the lodge. Small weddings seem more relaxed and we can spent more time on creating the photos outdoors.
