Winter wedding at the John Hope Gateway

Winter weddings are challenging but always memorable.

Claire & Leslie got married on a cold and windy day in February. Ceremony took place at the Cramond Kirk, a very unique church located close to the Cramond Beach. For their wedding reception the couple chose  the Royal Botanic Gardens wedding venue, John Hope Gateway building at the west gate. There was a lot of work put into creating personalised decorations – including cute little paper planes. The day has finished with a very energetic ceilidh, perfect for a warm up on a cold evening.

I got to photograph groom’s brother wedding at the Old Dr Bell’s Baths a few years later too!
